This is a short film bout two idiots  (well three idiots is going to get released tomorrow sooo…and no this is NOT related to it even though we approached Amir Khan for the role), Kenneth and Shivani. They are best friends but have a very big problem in their lives…watch this space to find out more!

“In love with my best friend” is written, shot and directed by Raghav Bhotika, its loosely inspired from the archie comics…We are currently looking for a third idiot ( hopefully she should be cute and bubbly), so if you are interested pls call Raghav at 9972940791 or me (kenneth) at 9916379626 for more info. Pls dont expect any remuneration for this, we believe in “SASTA HAI ACHA”  but we can promise a wonderful experience while shooting!

After casting, principle shooting and post production is done, we will be sending this short film to many Film Festivals nationally and internationally. This film is a venture by Lights Off Productions.

Whenever i write a post for my blog, i am very clear bout what i am going to write and i usually dont stop to think…but damn, after watching Avatar in 3D… I just dont know what i could write that would justify this movie.

Well as Siddhanth said “The movies just crazy”.

Imagine. Your James Cameron, your last movie was Titanic, winner of eleven Academy Awards, the HIGHEST grossing film of ALL MATHAFREAKIN TIME.. so now, whatever movie you make next will be inevitablly compared to TITANIC.

And then, you get an idea. To make a Science fiction movie but then you realize that your story , your vision is not possible with the technology that is available today. So what do you do? postpone it ? give it up?

No.

You work, you invent, you go on to make sure that people can one day experience your vision. You go ahead and make a FREAKIN 3D camera that can actually shot in Three Dimensions to give REAL LIFE captured footage depth (3d cinema was greatly limited to what was created in computers ex: special effects, animated films etc..).

14 years later, 14 MATHAfreaking years later (the time it takes for you to conceive a baby till he/she reaches the 9th grade). He finally finishes his movie.

You know what? Even if the movie sucked, i gotta give it to the dude for just not giving up man. He could have easily done other movies, let OTHER people develop 3d technology and then make a movie like this when it would cost less..he dint.

I want to be a professional filmmaker, and its so difficult for me to even comprehend the drive , patience and vision these directors have. They spends YEARS together just to finish a movie. You know whats the worst part of making a movie?       Waiting to see the final result. I now try to finish a movie in a day..let alone a month. But these directors invest millions of dollars and have to wait for 2 , 3 or 14 freaking years till they can finally see their vision come true.

As you have noticed, i haven’t written a review of the film, cause i dont need to.

EVEN IF you dont like the story, if you dont like science fiction , hell even if you dont like hollywood films…just go and watch it for the experience.

What experience?

The experience of living the story, of being in a world you only see in your dreams.

ps: PLEASE WATCH IN 3D!

In memory of my phone.

Dont worry, this is not some rant on how “teenagers are wasting their lives on their  cellphones” . My phone basically died, along with my contact with the outside world. The saying goes “You only value something when its gone” , ya i know that makes no sense at all….anywho.

It has kinda been peaceful without my phone (no offense to anyone), its almost like i am in hiding now. No one can reach me (well i was smart enough not to give my landline to anyone). Apart from creating complete chaos with my close friends, i actually was going about my day without carrying a cell phone. In general, not a nice experience, but loved the piece of mind.

Another important news is that….yes, I am growing my hair long. Well, its not a decision, it has already begun (Dramatic silence). Been growing it for 6 months now, and boy has it been some experience.

The most memorable experience was tying my first ponytail (it was finally long enough) but the problem was i looked like those chaka’s on commercial street (Well obviously i look prettier). The worst part is i have really thick , curly wavy hair (FYI i am a mallu) , but for some weird reason even though i look like a heroine addict from goa, i just like having long hair. By long, its coming up to my upper lip, gonna grow it till my cheek bone (reason i am not posting a pic is that you might end all relationships with me).

Damn, its so difficult  to maintain it .., shampooing, conditioning, styling ,combing what not and still it looks like i don’t shower for a week.  I used to get up every morning and look at the mirror and say “damn, what a stud”…and that day would usually go well, now i just run across the mirror and dont look at myself ..

Another thing that has changed is that now their are two types of baths a) Head Bath b) Body bath…when i had short hair, every FREAKIN bath was a head bath…now, twice a week i have my Head baths with shampooing and conditioning  and my short body baths…damn, why has life become so complicated.

Another big change in my life, is now that i am actually driving around instead of using public transport..well, that experience deserves an article of  its own.

My December holidays are going on, now holidays have a whole another meaning to them, basically days when i have no time to sit down and days when i sleep for 15 hours.

Will keep you guys posted, and thanks again for checking out KennyMedia (damn i sound like some news anchor).

ps: Since i din’t post a pic of me with long hair, a picture of Johnny Depp might suffice. I know, he is okay looking, but he has nice hair.

Things girls should know….NOW

December 1, 2009 2 comments

I saw an Ad on Tv, its for Enamor (ya, the brazier company). When i saw that i was like “What the..”

Cause honestly, Girls? We really dont give a shit if your bra “creases” are seen, or “somethings” sticking out…cause , we like you for who you are (Puppy eyes..and audience goes “awwww!”)

But thats not why i am writing this post, its related to that, basically i want to write about how YOU girls are taking a lot of tension and stress wondering bout what MEN think bout you and i thought its my Bloody Malayali duty to tell you….in the most direct-unbiased-ugly way.

Things girls should know to make their life easier:

1)Dont wasting time putting makeup, cause 90% guys dont like girls who wear make up…of any sort.

2) Stop wasting a lot of money to straighten your hair or ad  ”bounce” to it, even though personally i like straight hair on chicks, but when its done artificially it a HUGe turn off.

3)Dont bother buying clothes from top brands and burn a whole in your pocket (more like parents pocket) cause unless it fits you correctly and is what you like, thats all that matter. Guys hate girls who dress up over the top , they look gaudy and that doesnt create attraction for us.

4)DO NOT PUT UP A FAKE ACCENT: i don’t know why you girls do that man? I will give you an example, there is this chick in college who looks nice but i heard rumors that she has a fake accent and that immediately turned me off. Then one day, i just spoke to her for a minute and it turns out she doesn’t have an accent  and has a very cute “natural” one which immediately turned the tables for me. Girls i am begging you, drop the fake accent, we love you just the way you are.

5)Fake laughter:  I know, you poor girls have to purposly laugh at your Boyfriends retarded lard ass jokes so that he likes you more. Well,  honestly, guys dont mind if you dont laugh at his joke, but laughing in a very exaggerated manner is so freaking fake and we hate that more than anything.

6) Perfume factory: Ask any guy and they will tell you the best thing bout girls is how they smell but putting too much of perfume or absolutely nothing is a big turn off, so it would be great if you could find a middle ground cause you wont believe how an amazing aroma from a chick can leave us on our toes.

7)Talking to a baby: Oh k, i dunno if every guy feels the same way, but when girls try to be cute with me by talking like they are speaking to a 6 month year old baby, its PISSES the hell outta me, but i think that’s more of a personal thing for me.

8)Revealing a little to much: This was kinda covered in point 3, but i want to emphasise if your looking for the “perfect guy” who understands you, takes care of you and loves you from the bottom of  his heart (ya, definetly not talking bout myself) then dont wear REVEALING clothes. But, if you guys are already in a relationship, then once in a while, when things are going slack, wear something sexy. NOT in public though, we guys cant handle guy checking out our women.

Well, these points are mainly written to stop you girls from wasting your time and money in hopes of attractive decent men, if this didn’t help you then i dont know what will.
