WARNING: EXTREMELY EMOTIONAL AND DEEP….UNLIKE KENNETH.
I like the title of this post, its fit for a movie. Been a while since i wrote a blog post about something that has been lingering in my mind for a while. Recently, i have been going to a lot of college fests , met a lot of interesting people and saw a lot of cute girls…but somethings wrong. I didn’t have a crush on any single one of them.
Either i have turned gay ( not possible since i do like checking out women…not Bi-sexual cause i find guys disgusting..) or maybe as Austin Powers once famously quoted ” I have lost my mojo.”
I remember in 5th grade, i had my first crush (awww…) and even though i can’t remember her name (Wow..guys are so typical) i do remember her though. I couldn’t recuperate that love since i got transfered to another city and again i had atleast one crush per grade (I know, and you thought i turned nasty recently ). Then i came to bangalore…ahh, i swear i have stayed in a lot of places in my childhood but nothing had a lasting impression on me like Bangalore.
Bangalore taught me that when i get angry i shouldnt say ” Hey what is your problem you rascal!”, but to say “What THE F#(K is your Math%$#^&#g Problem Lo$de Ke B#l!!!” It also taught me that if i say obvious things like ” Hey man, you came to school today?” i would be made fun of endlessly. It taught me not to oil my hair and comb is sideways like a mallu boy , That it doesn’t matter if my shoes are polished to perfection and that i shouldn’t dress up like the cast of Main Hoin Na. Honestly, i am glad it taught me all this, but it did “un-teach” me (i know theres no word like tat, Bangalore ruined my grammar too” ).
It “un-taught” me to love. Well Love is big strong word, more like, I lost the ability to have a crush. I have reached a point in my life where i just dont have a crush on anyone. Its not like i dont want to, i really do, but i lost that feeling inside. You know that really annoying way “Your heart starts beating really fast when you are around her, you start sweating , you say the most stupid things and think to yourself …did i just say tat??”
Now, i see a very cute/hot chick, and my mind is saying “DUDE, Just look at her” , but that’s it. My heart doesn’t beat faster, i don’t get nervous ..i just see a cute girl and that’s it. More than me my friend Jason is worried about it , and he keeps waiting for a call where one day i would say” Hey man, i met someone , and she is amazing”. Not to mention, he makes up for me by making out with a lot of cute girls.
Maybe i just haven’t looked hard enough or maybe this is a passing phase, but i sure hope when i one day am walking through the street and i just see a glimpse of this girl and the song “Clarity” by John Mayer plays in the background. I dont care if i never see her again, but atleast i will get that feeling back
Well, as you might have guessed, this was obviously shot in my college during are “so-called” classes. As you all know, we loved SRK acting like a total retard in the movie so we thought of making a tribute to him. Honestly, Abraham should have acted in My name is khan because honestly he was much better at it..if you ask me.
Anywho, the titles and editing was done in After Effects, while sound editing was done in Sony Vegas (for ppl who want to know). Hope you guys like it, and unlike my other videos, I will not be uploading this on Youtube, this video is dedicated to my college friends and if your on facebook or come to my site . Your more than welcome to share it with your friends!
As i am writing this i cant believe that we finally finished this movie. We started working on this movie during october last year, and now its finally online. Intially it started off as a idea in Siddanths mind and it ended up developing into a 16 minute movie. Ya, i know this movie is only 9 minutes, but not many of you know that we reshot this movie. If you notice the trailer which we relased in october, the costumes and the length of “my hair” was different. There are a lot of reasons why we didnt release the first version , maybe cause it was freakishly long and had horrible audio, but nonetheless, we love this one
Honestly i had so much fun during this movie that i am glad i went through the painfull experience of lying down on railway tracks that have shit and piss on them or risking my life by jumping past trains that move at the speed of sound. We had a lot of techinical difficulties and lot of probelms getting into character. I hope its all paid off.

A short film by Siddanth K.S. (This is his third short film), with a running time of just 4 minutes, its a short tale bout a moment in a very mischievous girls life. If you have read the blog, you know who Sid is, if you dont..shame on you. This is also the third time i have worked with him on a movie, and its a blast! (i know, tat was corny.)
Honestly, this film was one of the most satisfying edits i have had in a long time because the end result was very close to what we imagined…that NEVER happens. I edited and did the titles for this movie, hope you like it

Some people love their bikes, some worship them and some make a video as a tribute to its greatness. I just was itching to make an ad on my bike, and i had finished making the music for it 3 months back. Somehow it kept getting postponed cause my friends weren’t available or cause i was busy or cause i didn’t have a camera. Then i had that moment.
The “SCREW IT MAN! I am shooting it right now” moment.
So i took a normal Digital Camera that had a decent video shooting mode, and went out and just shot random shots of traffic. The only reference of my shooting was the constant soundtrack (which i so love) playing through my mind as i recorded it. (Here is the download link to the music without the narration Fazer ad ).
Lot of people on the road got freaked out but i continued shooting anyway. I started putting it together and it took some shape. So on the second night, at 12 in the midnight , i go out on my bike and shoot some more because i was determined to finish this video on my own more than anything else and to basically show that ANYONE can make a video like this. All you need is something that can shoot video and little knowledge of editing.
Anyway, i have made a detailed “Making of” Video describing how each scene was done. Check it out.
