I met up with my friend Abraham at his old PG house, and i met Prithvi Pai by accident, (who coincidently ,from a young age loves writing scripts), i just generally wanted to speak to everyone about how i wanted to change the second half of  Revelations, since i felt it was too cliche and to predictable.

The ideas that Prithvi came up with is nothing short of creative genius, and i am proud to include his name in the credits as Writer.

The script has gone through a completle overhaul, and he also gave an amazing idea for the trailer too. I can’t thank god enough for making me meet him and giving me the urge to stop the production and re-write the script.

Now, i can confidently tell you  guys ,without any hesitation, that this is going to be my best work yet. Now, it is going to be difficult to finish the shooting on the scheduled time, but i honestly I dont care as i believe this script needs all the time it can get.

I am  currently  finishing the final screenplay and tomorrow we will have a cast& crew meeting to see how everything turns out. Will keep you guys updated.

what would you do? revelation

Here is a very quick and short update, What would you do? Episode 6 will be known as Revelation (short for What would you do? Revelation).

This has been done to clear some doubts, mainly because the story of the last episode ignores the first three episodes, and considers only from the 4th episode. Basically, What would you do? 1,2 and 3 are separate stories, while What would you do?4,5 and 6 are separate stories but are inter-related. To clear confusion, i have renamed the episodes.

So , This is how its going to be named: What would you do? Episode I , II and III will be the same.

What would you do? Episode IV, V and VI will be renamed to:

What would you do?

What would you do? : Revenge

What would you do? : Revelation

I have also enclosed a graphic for The Revelation title. Tell me what you think.

By Monday (25th) we will start with planning the fight sequences, so Arjun, Abraham, Aniket and me will be doing a lot of planning in my house (also making the neighbors uncomfortable). Also, physical training has started (well, it started 7 months back for me, but now it gets intense!). So, gonna eat a Lotta eggs and veggies and increase my daily workout along with a lot of  martial arts practice.

And a bit of good news, I got a teaching job in IFX Animation Studio, so now my movies will have a financial backing.

I will be looking for actors soon… So casting will be done by 15th June. Hopefully shooting will be done by end of June.

How to Make a Movie

When i started out with filmmaking, the net was a bit too overwhelming for me, since most of the articles on filmmaking were to advanced or too amatuer.  Now that i have some experience in filmmaking, i thought the least i can do is to give back to the people who took time and wrote down their experiences on the web, So i decided to  make a 4 part video tutorial which will visually show you and guide you with filmmaking.

I am from a typical middle class Indian family, thankfully my father encouraged my filmmaking craze and supported me throughout (dont worry the emotional ranting ends here). So, in order to follow these tutorials, you will need the following:

•  A simple entry level Camcorder ala Handycam (if you dont have one borrow it from your friends, thats what i do…i am serious)
• A simple idea for a movie
• A actor or a few (your friends and family are more than enough)
• zero cash (maybe a few bucks for water and snacks)
• An average computer with windows xp running on it (you can go to a internet parlour as well)

I swear, this is all you need…But dont think that the end result will be a below average home video. With my tutorials , i will make sure that you atleast reach semi-proffesional standards. How? By making the MOST of what you have, and you wont believe what you can do nowadays..

By the way, this guide is called “How to make a movie with a zero budget“…

Scriptwriting: Which includes the introduction and basic guides to converting your wacky ideas on to paper. A few references to storyboarding and shot division as well..

Principle Photography: Basically shooting your film. It will include basics of handling the camera, making the best of the surroundings and cheap ways to do some industry tricks.

Editing: The crucial part, which includes both video and audio editing. The softwares used will be Windows Movie Maker,audacity and some other free softwares.

Finishing the film: A minor understanding of how to promote your videos on the web and various basic copyright laws.

And the best part is, all this will be absolutely free!! YES thats right, all these amazing features for 0 bucks (i know, i sound like the infomercial guy).
